Privacy Policy

What this site collects, and what happens to it.

This page explains what we collect when you use this website, why, how long we keep it and what you can ask of us.

Who we are

This website is run by AdaptGen LLC, Sharjah Media City (Shams), Sharjah, United Arab Emirates. The full company details are on the Imprint page.

Questions about this policy or your data go to hani.badr@adaptgen.tech.

What we collect

You can read this site without an account.

If you use the Book a Conversation form, we collect your name, work email, organization and message, and a preferred date, time and time zone if you give them.

If you use the website assistant, we collect what you type and the answers it gives. If you ask it to send the conversation to our team, we also keep the transcript and the e-mail address you give.

Site analytics are described in the Analytics section below.

How we use it

Enquiries are stored and e-mailed to our team so that we can reply, and you receive a confirmation e-mail.

Our public pages set no cookies. We do not sell this data or use it for advertising.

The Website assistant and Analytics sections below say what goes where.

How long we keep it

Assistant questions and answers are deleted automatically after the period stated under Website assistant below.

Enquiries and conversations sent to our team are kept while we deal with them and for as long as we need them for our records. There is no fixed deletion period at present.

Your choices and rights

Keep personal or confidential information out of the assistant. You can opt out of analytics in the section below, and a browser's Do Not Track setting is honoured.

To ask what we hold about you, or to ask us to correct or delete it, write to the address above.

Changes to this policy

Last updated 2 November 2026. When this policy changes, the new version is posted on this page.

Website assistant

When you ask the assistant a question, your question and the recent turns of the conversation are sent, together with the matching excerpts from our knowledge base, to Groq, Inc. (United States), which runs the language model that writes the answer. Groq is the only processor of that text.

Each question and answer is stored on our server for 30 days so that we can improve the answers, and is then deleted automatically. We do not store your IP address or your browser details with it.

If you ask the assistant to send the conversation to our team, the transcript and the e-mail address you give are kept as an enquiry and e-mailed to our team so that we can reply to you.

Please do not enter personal or confidential information in the assistant.

Where site analytics is active, Umami counts only that the assistant was opened, a question was asked, the fallback answer was shown or a handover was sent. It never receives the text.

Analytics

We measure how this site is used with Umami, an open-source analytics tool that we host ourselves on a server in Germany. No third-party analytics provider receives the data, and it is not sold or used for advertising.

Umami sets no cookies and stores nothing on your device for analytics. It does no cross-site or cross-device tracking and builds no persistent visitor profile: visits are told apart by an anonymised identifier derived from a hash with a rotating salt, and your IP address is used only briefly for that and for a coarse country lookup and is not stored. A browser's Do Not Track setting is honoured.

What is recorded: page address and title, referrer, browser, operating system, device type, screen size, language, country and time of visit.

Because nothing is stored on or read from your device beyond what your browser transmits anyway, and the data is not tied to an identifiable person, no consent banner is shown. We do this on the basis of our interest in measuring how the site is used and improving it. You can opt out here at any time; the opt-out is kept in this browser's local storage under “umami.disabled” and applies to this browser only.
